Movement Restrictions in FMD

A wider Infected Areas is usually declared when several outbreaks occur
within a limited geographical area. The limits of the Infected Area are
generally either natural geographic features or administrative boundaries
(e.g., province, country). The control measures applicable to a Surveillance
Zone are extended to the wider infected area and continue for the same
period of time.
